We asked our students who are newly qualified and are working in their salons as a new stylist, why they believe hairdressing is a great career choice.

K.M one of our first year apprentices said, “Hairdressing is an amazing career to get into.” Her passion grew from her mum being a hairdresser who eventually opened her own salon. She believes that if you are committed and confident you will succeed in the hairdressing industry.

Roxanne is a second year apprentice and she found her passion for hair through dance, she creates different hairstyles to match her dance routines. She has set herself very high goals to keep her determination high and allowing herself to make the occasional mistake along the way to learn from them and grow her confidence.

Here is what our tutor has to say

Dana has been in the hairdressing industry for over 20 years and is one of the fabulous tutors here at Falltricks Hairdressing Academy. We asked Dana why she has stayed in the hairdressing industry.

“I love the hairdressing industry so much I wanted to give something back and I felt becoming a tutor would be the perfect answer. I teach two days a week and I work in a salon two days a week. This works perfectly for me as it allows me time to bring up my family.”
